This past Saturday, D91’s 4th through 7th graders, proudly representing our district as the Deep Sea Chickens, showcased their skills and teamwork at a Lego Robotics competition. Here are the highlights:
🤖 Robot Challenges: Students competed in three categories: Robot Obstacle Course rounds, Robot Design Judging, and a Research Project Presentation. Throughout the event, they demonstrated exceptional teamwork and Gracious Professionalism.
🐓 Obstacle Course Success: Our team worked tirelessly to rack up points during the robot obstacle course rounds.
🐔 Robot Design Excellence: In the Robot Design Judging Room, students impressed judges by explaining their process for building and programming their robot.
🦈 Coral Reef Research: During the Research Project Presentation, the team shared an innovative project focused on saving coral reefs.
🥇 Alliance Champions: The day ended on a high note with a fun Alliance Tournament, where our team partnered with another group to tackle the obstacle course. Together, they took 1st place and earned the Alliance Award!
