Community Meetings

Our Citizens' Advisory Council (CAC) is hosting two community meetings to gather insights into our school community. There will be two opportunities to participate the 1st will be on Wednesday, April 12th, from 6:30-8pm at FPMS and will focus on Middle grades 6-8. The second will be on Monday, April 17th, from 6:30-8pm at Betsy Ross with a focus on primary and intermediate grades PK-5.

The CAC is an advisory to the Board of Education, it is responsible for projects such as the Parent Handbook and our District's Asset Needs Assessment, a tool that will help inform our district leaders on improvement efforts.

We invite all families, students, staff, and the Forest Park community to participate in the meetings to share your thoughts and opinions on the work of D91 and the direction of our public schools. The CAC needs to hear what the community has to say in order to make proper and relevant recommendations to the Board of Education and the Superintendent regarding school improvement. We want to highlight we are doing well and bring up where there is room for improvement and growth.

Both meetings are open to all community members. Some of the topics we will be discussing include School Culture & Climate, Academics, Extracurriculars, Safety & Security, Partnerships & more.

We hope to see you there!
